Grigore Vasiliu Birlic

Born January 24, 1905 , Falticeni - died February 14, 1970 , Bucharest, was one of the greatest Romanian actors of comedy. He starred in many plays, and movies. Birth name was Grigore Vasiliu, Birlic is just a nickname he received due to the success of a song Birla, played at the beginning of his career.
