Jim Steinman was responsible for writing many internationally successful songs, mainly for [a=Meat Loaf] but also "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Holding Out for a Hero", performed by [a=Bonnie Tyler]; "It's All Coming Back to Me Now", performed by [a19298]; "Making Love Out of Nothing at All", performed by [a=Air Supply], and "More", performed by [a=The Sisters of Mercy], among others.
Co-recipient of a Grammy Award in 1997. Inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.
