UK studio orchestra formed by [l35306] in 1960, when the label started to make its own recordings of musicals. From the beginning, it was sometimes also credited as "The New World Orchestra". [a=Bobby Richards And His Orchestra] (at least without Mr Richards himself) seems to be the same basic entity.
