Funk-Disco band founded in June 1977 by [a1772375] (born in Florida). Rising Sound's other members include Tanya Casey (Bermuda, daughter of singer [a313094] and granddaughter of the bandleader [a1281336]), Sheila (Pennsylvania) and Larry (North Carolina).

The band recorded their first songs for an LP in October 1977 at Walldorf Studio, Germany.
